Project Canoe’s programs are designed to meet the needs of youth who are facing barriers. These may include social, emotional, behavioural, learning or economic barriers that increase the risk factors related to youth developing resiliency, life skills, social competencies and feeling a sense of personal success.

Our youth are introduced to us by social service agencies, schools, group homes, social workers, as well as the youth’s own parents and guardians. We also work in partnership with agencies to deliver highly tailored programming to youth demographics that face barriers unique to  Newcomer, LGBTQ+, Sexual Assault,
