About Project Canoe
Since 1977, Project Canoe has created transformative outdoor experiences for youth facing barriers, aged 13–18. Decades of research support what we witness through our programs: that time spent in nature improves mental health, builds confidence, fosters resilience, and strengthens interpersonal skills. At Project Canoe, we believe that all youth - regardless of the challenges they face - should have access to outdoor experiences and the life-changing benefits they provide. Project Canoe offers backcountry canoe trips in Algonquin Park during the summer, along with a variety of outdoor recreational programs year-round
