We offer recreational programming that meets youth where they are at. Activities are run using the wilderness areas in the communities where our youth live, such as Regent Park and the Jane-Finch corridor. Our urban programs are shorter and less intensive than our regular programming.
Programs include kayaking in Lake Ontario, nature hikes, scavenger hunts and more. Our programming combines group development and emotional exercises in a wilderness setting.
Our goal is to help youth connect with each other and with the urban wilderness year round. We promote the idea that wilderness recreation can be done anywhere, not just at specialized locations or out in the wilderness.
